FLAT HIFI emerges in Madrid as a space where music takes center stage in the architectural experience. Inspired by Japanese Jazz Kissa, the project revives the idea of attentive and shared listening. The relationship between sound, material, and light creates an intimate atmosphere that invites visitors to linger and experience music in a different way.

The space is organized across two levels that share a common material identity while offering distinct atmospheres. The main floor provides a more dynamic experience, while the basement takes on a more intimate character. Wood, steel, and textured surfaces bring warmth and continuity to the overall design.

The bars and sound systems are integrated into custom-designed elements, becoming central features of the architecture. Their presence organizes the space and strengthens the connection between music and the user. Lighting highlights the materials and creates an atmosphere where architecture, sound, and social interaction coexist naturally.
