The privileged location of this house works as the main idea to build a concept based on a universe of opposites. Contrast is used as a guiding thread in the decisions that characterize the project. From the aesthetic and technical approaches, to the more conceptual ideas, everything is guided by this desire for balance.

Determined by the singular location of the land, the first decision has to do with the volume. Two clearly differentiated units are proposed. A concrete structure forms a heavy plinth that houses the first floor. Its rotundity offers a forceful appearance that supports everything that is placed on it.

This strong box, stereotomic in appearance, is perforated with a series of holes that give a glimpse of the bedrooms and bathrooms. A compact volume that houses the most nocturnal and private program of the house.

On this solid block, a structure is built whose will aims at the opposite. Its appearance is configured as a sum of parts that pursue permeability. Thus, large gaps are drawn that always look towards the sea. This desire to promote the relationship between inside and outside becomes the spearhead of the project.

Taking advantage of this scenario, this space receives the day area, being the living room and kitchen the main uses. Its open floor plan promotes a diaphanous space that directs its views towards the landscape.
