A shared vision of four architects, expanded to a practice focused on the dialogue between different talents, clients and disciplines.

DIIR is a Madrid-based architecture firm with international projection, founded in 2018 and born from the vision of four architects: David Meana, Ignacio Navarro, Iñigo Palazón and Ricardo Fernández. Graduated from Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM), they complemented their training with international experiences in the United States, Sweden, France, China or India. This opportunity has given them an open perspective that they now apply in each of their innovative works.

Throughout the years DIIR has built a solid team that is growing steadily, supporting a network of collaborators from multiple disciplines including engineers, designers, photographers, landscape architects and artists. In this way, DIIR fosters connections between different points of view and talents, bringing architecture into dialogue with art, landscape and people’s daily experience.

The best reflection of the office´s identity is shown in our own home. Espacio DIIR is a multidisciplinary space whose activity is open to improvisation. A space conceived as a workshop, but also as something more. A gathering space understood as an extension of the street itself. A space of diffusion where culture and debate have a place. A leisure space that hosts conferences, exhibitions and workshops. A meeting place for friends from multiple disciplines.
